Thanksgiving at the Beach (Days 6-7)

Day 6: Since it was a Sunday, my Mom an Dad went to church, however, Bethany and I stayed back to help Josiah and Cindy move from the rental house to Grandma’s house and to have some fun time with them. However later that night we had a great time with Grandma, Josiah, Cindy, Johanna, Bethany, Mom and Dad. Here are some pics.

Thanksgiving at the Beach (Days 4-5)

Day 4: Friday was uneventful. We played on the beach for awhile and played Uno, we ate lots of candy too. 😦

Day 5: After breakfast, Hudson, Bethany and I went out to the beach and played but not for long because Hudson’s tooth came out. Here are some pics.

Hudson, Johanna and of course me with Mason.

Thanksgiving at the Beach (The Big Day: Day 3)

Happy Thanksgiving! After eating breakfast my only cousin, Hudson, and my sister Bethany, went down to the beach to play. Then we went on to Hudson’s beach house which is just down the road a block, where we joined my Aunt Kimberley and my sister Elisabeth who were cooking. Hudson and I were shipped upstairs with an apple and so we decided to be kids again and played with Hudson’s toys. After that we went back to Grandma’s house and began to play a game along with Tyler, Hannah, Annaliese, Priscilla and Justus. However, since there was so many people playing the game we found it too challenging to stay in one place so long when there were other people we wanted to spend time with and other things we wanted to do, so Elisabeth took our place. After eating our big meal we went upstairs to have fun with Johanna, play games and take pictures.

Thanksgiving at the Beach (Days 1 and 2)

This Thanksgiving instead of having Thanksgiving at home we went up to New Jersey to my Grandma’s house where all my seven siblings, two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, one sister’s friend and one niece. Also, my two uncles, one of my Uncle’s friend, my other Uncle’s wife and son along with my aunt’s friend. Yes, there was a lot of people.

So I’ll start with day one. Since we drove from NC to NJ we were traveling most of the day, however, as soon as we got there we (my sisters Hannah, Elisabeth, Priscilla and Bethany, Hannah’s friend, Tyler; Priscilla’s husband, Justus; Mom and Dad, and of course me) went on a long walk on the beach.

Next, of course, is day two, Wednesday. My brothers Josiah, his wife Cindy, their kid Johanna, my brother Jesse, his girlfriend Annaliese, Priscilla and Justus; went to NYC so the rest of us were just decided not to go. Hannah, Tyler and Elisabeth had homework so they went over to a rental house to study and do homework. When they stopped studying we went on another long walk and played in the beach.

Tyler and me. We were trying to stay in the water as long we could. (PC Dad)

Then we went to a little town on the Island called Bay Village which has a lot of shops. Then we saw the sunset. Believe me, it was COLD and WINDY!

Do It Yourself

On Saturday I did  great DIY project which was one of my mom’s great inventions that I carried out. Instead of buying a dry erase board calendar, you can make your own!

1. A regular to large sized old frame you don’t want anymore with glass

2. Dry erase markers (preferably fine point)

3. Sharpies (or any permanent marker, preferably not fine point)

4. A piece of paper the size of your frame. (I needed to cut my paper to fit the frame)

First, Draw a basic calendar month on the piece of paper. By basic, I mean the pattern above without the month name and dates. Second, put the calendar into the frame as if it is a picture. Thirdly, You can write the name of the month you are in and all the dates. After each month is ended, simply wipe off the dry erase and repeat the second step. You never need to buy a calendar again! If you have any questions, just comment and I’ll try to answer my best.

Activities with Me

As I mentioned in my last post, October has arrived and with it comes the real weather change I anticipated in September. Windy, dry, cool.

Lately (especially Saturday) I have been doing a lot of projects…

…like scrap booking. (Isn’t my little niece adorable?)

I also made cookies yesterday which was a great enjoyment.

They were gluten free chocolate chip cookies.

We also got to babysit my friend Charlotte’s niece for a couple hours.

Another activity has been taking random pictures such as this one of Bethany.

I hope you enjoyed these pictures! God bless you!
