A Warning About Straying From God

“In years past sailors guided their ships with the aid of the stars. As they looked up, they could get their bearings and chart their path by studying the positioning of the stars. But when it was cloudy and the stars were hidden from sight, these seafarers became hopelessly lost because they had no point of reference. It’s the same way for you and me. When we look up into the face of God by prayerfully reading and studying His Word, we have a point of reference to guide the ship of our life. Otherwise, we can become hopelessly lost.”
