Ways I Can Heip Around The House

Ways I Can Help Around the House

Here are some ways I can help around the house.

I can visit elderly neighbors and give them, cookies, bread, or some other simple thing to give

(“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Romans 13:9).

I can help my little sister do school or play with her to keep every thing quiet while the others do school. (“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” John 15: 12).

When others are sick or tired I can do their chores and serve them by getting them food or water. (“I was naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to me.” Matthew 25:36)

I can help with dinner when there’s lots to do and even if there’s not. (“For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” Galatians 5:13)

I can try not to argue and bicker. (“But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!” Galatians5:15. “And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel, but be gentle, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God will perhaps grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth…” 2 Timothy 2:24-25)

I can help by cleaning up the house to make it all nice and clean (“You shall fear the Lord your God and serve Him, and shall take oaths in His name.” Deuteronomy 6:13)

I can help by being a hard worker and help with any work that needs to be done. (“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”2 Timothy2:15. “For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat.” Thessalonians 3:10. “The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.” Proverbs 13:4)

I can help by cultivating all the fruits of the Holy Spirit. (“But the fruit of the Spirit is, love, joy, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control. Against these there is no such law.” Galatians 5:22-23)

I can help by just dong what my parents want me to. (“Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.” Ephesians 6:1. “Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.” Hebrews 13:17. “Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.” Colossians 3:20. “But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: We ought to obey God rather than men.” Acts5:29)

So those are some ways I can help around the house.

Different Country Dress-up

One night when the older ones were away Elisabeth, Lydia, and I decided to take our encyclopedia and use it as a guide in dressing up in the styles of all sorts of different countries. I really love different countries so I thought it to be a brilliant idea. These pictures are a few of the countries we dressed up like.

This is Elisabeth dressed as a Romanian.

And Lydia our French woman.

This is me as Irish.

Elisabeth is now dressed up as a Dutch. . .

And Lydia as Japanese.

Me as a Scotland man. The outfit was falling off of me.

Lydia as a Soviet Union person. The pants she’s

wearing are mine. That accounts for their big

appearance.

Lastly me as a boy of Germany.

We had jolly fun! Which country do you think looks most realistic? I know there’re poor reflections of the countries in real, but oh well!
